- 1 cup (190g) of rice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry active yeast
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 150 g water
Instructions
- Wash rice and soak in water for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for the best results.
- Drain the soaked rice well to ensure excess water is removed. Proper draining is crucial to prevent the bread from collapsing or shrinking.
- In a blender, combine the soaked rice, sugar, salt, and water. Blend for 1 minute until a smooth mixture forms.
- Add the oil to the blender and blend for another minute.
- Incorporate the yeast into the mixture and blend for an additional minute.
- Pour the batter into a parchment-lined mold, then spray water on the surface.
- Allow the batter to rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has almost doubled in volume.
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (360Β°F) and bake the bread for 30 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack until it reaches room temperature.
- Slice the bread and serve it fresh!
