Ingredients

  • 1 cup (190g) of rice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry active yeast
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 150 g water

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and soak in water for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for the best results.
  2. Drain the soaked rice well to ensure excess water is removed. Proper draining is crucial to prevent the bread from collapsing or shrinking.
  3. In a blender, combine the soaked rice, sugar, salt, and water. Blend for 1 minute until a smooth mixture forms.
  4. Add the oil to the blender and blend for another minute.
  5. Incorporate the yeast into the mixture and blend for an additional minute.
  6. Pour the batter into a parchment-lined mold, then spray water on the surface.
  7. Allow the batter to rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has almost doubled in volume.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (360Β°F) and bake the bread for 30 minutes.
  9. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack until it reaches room temperature.
  10. Slice the bread and serve it fresh!
