Description

Indulge in the luxurious velvety texture of this vegan-friendly 3-ingredients chocolate mousse, made with just three simple ingredients: silken tofu, rich melted chocolate, and sweet maple syrup. It hits your dessert craving and is so easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (350g) silken tofu
  • 1 cup (100g) melted dark chocolate (I use 75%)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Drain the silken tofu and pat it dry gently with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate with the optional coconut oil in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water until smooth. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
  3. In a food processor or blender, combine the silken tofu, melted chocolate, and maple syrup. Blend until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
  4. Divide the chocolate mousse into serving cups or bowls. Cover them with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until set.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, nuts or a dollop of whipped coconut cream before serving.
